Dd’s position as “technology agnostic” — not bound to any one platform or digital tool — means Dd can match the best tools with the most pressing issues on the ground, rather than focusing on one tool or the solutions provided by one company or developer. Dd’s combined tech expertise and ability to evaluate and collaboratively build solutions with local partners makes our programs both sustainable and innovative. Open source tools are a focus as there is a “democracy in the code” – being transparent, efficient and participatory at the programming level.
